Has Wyclef Jean's thinking been compromised? Or perhaps he just has no clue!! Wyclef Jean for president of Haiti Lord help this country!! Wyclef Jean does not have the education nor the political experience to run for office in Haiti, being a bad singer and throwing food to children in Haiti do not qualify him to run the country. Although the country is in an impossible condition, it does not simply mean that the citizens of Haiti are ready for an idiotic president. I would like to know what he has done in his career that shows he is fit to be the next leader.

What higher institution did he attend beyond high school? What is his political experience? Regan was an actor however a very good and educated one. I am not sure what language Wyclef speaks, he certainly does not speak English although he has been a resident of the states for many years. Does he even speak Creole? If anyone really thinks that Wycef is qualified to be anything but a bad singer, should really think twice. The man can hardly manage his finances, people he has been in business with have complained about his lack of respect when it comes to following rules and regulations. Being a president of a country is not an on the job training, I know he received his singing training from the slums of Brooklyn, that does not qualify him to be president. Perhaps he realized he could steal way more as President of a country than as President of a charity. Maybe Angie could run as his vice presidential candidate. That would be quite the ticket! I guess anything to get him to stop singing for a few years is good enough.

How much more do the people of Haiti need to endure? First they had a horrible earthquake Second, Obama picked "the village idiot" to be in charge of rebuilding the country Obama wanted to get the village idiot out of US politics, and therefore he sent him to Haiti to make a mess, just as he has made a mess of the US economy. Third Now the other uneducated idiot, WJ wants to run for president. When is it enough?

This is going to be flagged as inappropriate so if you are an upset at the world black man, just move on and stop reading. So what do we have here? A Hip Hop artist, who steals from his own charity donations to pay for his adventure trip to Haiti, then refuses to pay his taxes, for the last three years to the country where he has lived since he was nine years old ; feels he should be elected president.. To all the black Hip Hop stars who think that Wyclef Jean is fit to be anything but a singer should really sick help. His morals and ethics have been questioned many times and he failed to prove his integrity.

WJ does not know the meaning of integrity. Presidential duties demand integrity. Integrity of a president is a must for the expedient implementation of our ideals and efforts to promote the freedom of other less fortunate nations and people. Therefore the next Haitian presidential candidate should have integrity. The best measure of integrity in a candidate is their past history and the record it displays upon close examination. The current president of the US is probably the best example of integrity. So Wyclef don't you dare compare yourself to this man!

A few Haitians and African Americans are upset over the fact that Wyclef Jean is been criticized by the media, they even said that it is the "white man" trying to keep a black man down. All I have to say, this is 2010, that phrase is old. Contrary to what others may think the majority of Haitians do not support the idiotic candidacy of Wyclef Jean.

Many of us came to the US at a very young age, we took advantage of every good opportunity the US had to offer. We went to college, graduated, paid our college loans, volunteered and helped others who are less fortunate to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have decent jobs have never collected welfare, nor do we have any intentions of doing so. We do not believe that the US government owes us anything; some of us expect the same from everyone who lives in this country. Anyone who feels that paying taxes is unethical, should relocate to a different country. No one is above the law.

I am one of those who think that Wyclef is not fit to be anything except what his mother raised him to be. He does not represent those of us who hold ourselves to the highest moral and ethical values. People in America really need to get rid of that mentality that the government is after another black man mentality! It is time to stop using the race card and and please try to make it seems as if WJ is a victim.

So WJ, start from scratch, go back to school, pay your debt to the US government, try to learn the two official languages of Haiti and maybe in 10 years you can earn the trust of the people.
